In every angel, a demon hides and in every demon, an angel strides.
RAGHAV
I looked at the man sitting in front of me, bloodied and bruised. My men had done an excellent job in breaking him down.
"Tell me the truth," I asked calmly.
"I swear I didn't," he stammered.
I leaned forward, a cold smile playing on my lips. "I have all the transaction details. You're cornered. All I need is the truth, no more lies. Tell me the truth, and you can walk away." I tossed a stack of documents at him. They scattered around, each page detailing the financial fraud he had committed.
Liars and cheaters disgust me. He has no idea what I am capable of. With a snap of my fingers, I could destroy his family. But I won't. I would never harm an innocent person.
The man in question was an accountant who had risen through the ranks, but his experience and overconfidence had allowed greed to take over.
"You don't mess with Raghav Sinha and just walk away," I said, my voice a low growl. They don't call me the reincarnation of the devil for nothing. I may appear calm and unassuming, but I have my fingers on the pulse of my employees.
The man's eyes widened in fear, his facade of innocence crumbling as the weight of his actions bore down on him.
After a few minutes, he finally confessed everything. I won’t kill him since he told the truth, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be punished. A smirk crept across my face as I decided his fate.
"Cut off all his fingers," I ordered my men as I walked out of the room. His screams filled the air, but I ignored them. They were music to my ears, a symphony that calmed the storm within me. His agony soothed my inner demons.
Raghav Sinha never forgives deceit. For me, honesty and trust are the pillars of any relationship.
I needed a shower, as sweat and blood stained my clothes. I headed to my private quarters and took a long, hot shower. The water washed away the sweat and blood, cleansing not just my body but my mind. I needed to stay sharp and focused. As I stepped out, I chose a black three-piece suit. It was my armor, a symbol of my power and control.
Satisfied with my appearance, I moved to my study to continue working. I buried myself in documents and emails, dealing with the complexities of my business empire. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t shake thoughts of Divya. Her innocence and purity were a stark contrast to the darkness that surrounded me.
Leaning back in my chair, I closed my eyes. Her angelic face appeared in my mind. She was sweet and innocent—everything I hated in a woman. I preferred my women bold and sexy.
Divya Aggarwal thinks I don’t know her, but she has no idea how well I do. It baffles me how someone like her can be friends with Aakash. I don’t understand why I can’t stop thinking about her.
I can still remember how she looked into my eyes. No one dares to look into my eyes. In fact, I hate when people do. But with her, it was different. When she looked into my eyes, I wasn’t angry.
Oh God! I need to stop thinking about her. She is not meant for me.
I was jolted back to reality when the door was pushed open. I hate being disturbed. I was about to snap at the intruder, but I stopped when I realized who it was.
"What are you doing here?" I asked her.
"I need your help," she replied, settling into the chair in front of me.
Why does she need my help all of a sudden? I’m sure she's up to something.
"Maya, tell me the truth. What are you up to?" I asked seriously.
"I want Aakash back," she said.
What the hell is wrong with her? First, she left because she didn’t want to create trouble in Aakash’s life, and now she wants him back. What a bitch.
"Then why do you need my help?" I asked.
"Because I want Ananya out of his life," she said angrily.
Ananya Singhania. Aakash’s sweet and innocent wife. I can still remember our first meeting. She is so pure. I really don’t know why she fell in love with Aakash.
"So, you want my help to separate them," I said. She nodded.
"Okay, I will help you," I said.
I have no interest in helping her. I just want to destroy Aakash.
Aakash is not my enemy, and I don't actually hate him. He is the key to destroying the person who took everything from me. I clenched my fist in anger.
"When I have a proper plan, I will let you know," she said and stood up to leave. Maya is a very beautiful girl, the kind every man dreams of. But I despise her type. She is a cheater, and that reason is enough for me to hate her.
Aakash's life is about to get very interesting, especially when his ex-crush comes back into his life. Aakash, your life is going to be destroyed completely. I will take everything from you, just like your dad did to me.
Maya is just a pawn in this game. She has no idea that I’m using her for my profit.
Get ready, Aakash, to face the devil. Now, who will save you from me?
